The inspection and certification of materials, usually defined as 3.2 certification, is carried out as a Third Body, without constraints on the company to be evaluated nor with the end customer.
Inspections are carried out by qualified inspectors with proven professional expertise in manufacturing processes, with at least a Level II NDT qualification.
This inspection takes place primarily in three main phases:
- Sampling and punching test based at company premises
- Witness of mechanical tests according to relevant regulations at a qualified laboratory or in the laboratory of the manufacturer;
- Final stamp transfer
After the positive result of the over-mentioned activities, the relating EN 10204 3.2 certification is issued, in accordance with the relevant standards.
